Whose Journey is this? - The Kitchen in my flat could be described as a desolate waste land. It is filled with dangerous and mystifying items. I am only really willing to venture into this barren land when I need something from the Oasis of my Defy refrigerator, or the mystical powers of the microwave, or the heating ability of the kettle. All in all, the kitchen is not a place that I like to spend any amount of time in. My lack of cooking skills adds to this fear of the kitchen and I really cannot blame myself for this.

It's not my fault that I grew up in a family with an exceptionally awesome cook, whose ability in the kitchen would put to shame this new breed of self proclaimed wunderkind foodies we so often hear about.
